Established in 1966 across the Jean-Talon Market, the store underwent a complete makeover in 2014. We invested over $650,000 to provide our customers a totally new shopping experience in a tasteful, pleasant, and airy setting. Our team of passionate sales attendants and consultative cheesemongers, under the able leadership of Bruno, the Store Manager, is ready and eager to serve and guide you in your selection… and answer any question you may have. Bruno Drouin has been working at the fromagerie ever since his college years. By his own admission, at the very beginning, his knowledge of cheeses didn’t extend beyond plastic-wrapped grocery store cheddar. Over the years, he held a variety of positions: Sales Attendant at our Westmount Square Store, Wholesale Department Manager, and since 1999 Store Manager at our Jean-Talon Market Store. Passionate about cheeses, his epicurean nature has compelled him to travel to France and Switzerland to meet various cheese makers to further his knowledge of cheeses. A Quebec Cheese Society (ITHQ) graduate, he acted as jury member at the Cheese and Dairy Products Show in Paris and was inducted into the Commandership of the Sainte-Maure de Touraine cheese (France). He has the knack for passing on his love for everything epicurean to his team of 40 employees and intends to make each and every one of them as passionate about customer service as he is.
